Gold futures settle lower on Tuesday for the first time in four sessions as benchmark U.S. stock indexes trade higher, looking to rebound from their steepest daily decline since 2008, and as government bond yields jump up off their historic lows seen Monday after a coronavirus and crude-oil sparked plunge.
