Amazon delays America’s Prime Day due to neverending COVID-19 pandemic

But India still gets Prime Day next month. A new date for Prime Day in the U.S. has not been set.

Amazon has officially delayed Prime Day 2020 in the U.S., reports CNBC. Prime Day is Amazon’s annual shopping extravaganza that usually takes place every July. It sees some of the best sales of the year with tens of thousands of items listed at steep discounts. But this year, Americans are going to have to wait a little longer for the consumer “holiday” of the year thanks to problems stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
