This year in particular, I am mindful of family, friends, employees, partners, clients, alumni and recruitees that have helped Global Advisors reach our current point in history.
The December holiday period is celebrated differently around the world and differently by different people. For some of us who are lucky, the holiday period may be evocative of memories of childhood holidays, family and friends. In South Africa for those who are fortunate, those memories might often be of times at the coast or in the African bush.
I think the Americans have it right in celebrating Thanksgiving – being mindful of what to be thankful of at least once a year leading up to the festive season. That can be hard to do at times, but Global Advisors and I have a lot to be thankful for going into 2023.
Thank you for your trust and commitment. I hope that we too can show the same and more to you.
